AgCam System The DM AgCam is a durable, reliable surveillance system with the innovative ability to be quickly moved from one application to the next. Specifically designed to withstand the harsh conditions of farming and ranching, the AgCam system will find many uses on your grain or livestock operation as well as construction equipment, delivery vehicles and many other applications. The AgCam is the first and only complete universal rear vision system with full color infrared night vision capabilities, and our Exclusive Photogray Extra®. Photo chromatic lenses allow for a near perfect picture, even in direct sunlight, by automatically darkening. PGX lenses are also invisible to the infrared light emitted by the AgCam LED allowing you to go from a bright environment, where your lens has darkened, into a completely dark environment, without the lens hindering any visibility. Even when you are not working you will find many uses for your monitor and camera systems, with the versatility of the ranch hand attachment you will be watching events in a remote location within minutes. Every system is equipped with an adapter which will hook directly to a DVD or VCR, the kids will look forward to that long trip. The camera is 100% waterproof. With the added versatility of our optional suction cup mount monitor bracket, moving the AgCam from one place to another takes just a few seconds. Add the Quad Processor and you can display 4 camera on the same screen or auto rotate 2, 3 or all 4 cameras with adjustable delay times. The DM AgCam uses a unique camera system with a host of features, which allow it to be used in a variety of situations producing excellent results. The real beauty of the camera system is its ability to easily migrate from one application to another, using a single wire hookup and a strong magnet. The heart of the AgCam camera system is a 1/3" CCTV imaging sensor with 380 lines of resolution and twin color/BW image boards. The color part of the camera is a very low light imager sensitive to below .5 Lux, and the 12 built in infrared emitters will illuminate a path for the infrared sensitive Black and White image board for viewing in total darkness. The camera will allow for immediate transfer from a bright lit to very dark environment without any interruption in high quality picture. The front of the camera features an exclusive "Corning Photogray® Lens" with photochromatic darkening properties, which, even when at its darkest, is invisible to the infrared emitters, allowing the user to go from bright sunlight, to complete darkness with no sacrifice of quality or sharpness. This is the same glass used in the most expensive prescription glasses and is an exclusive of the AgCam system. In very bright sunlight the glass darkens and in the low light it becomes clear. This is a feature, which allows the user to see high quality images even looking directly into the sun. Finally, the camera housing is an extremely strong, waterproof, solid anodized aluminum housing with all natural rubber O-ring seals, mounted on top of a ceramic POT magnet which has a 8 to 10 Lb pull strength, it's low profile makes it easy to find an appropriate mounting location easily. The display system for the DM AgCam is a custom-made 7" or 8" wide TFT Color monitor with a built in TV Tuner or the 6" model is equipped without the TV tuner function. The TFT technology is the newest flat screen technology available (TFT meaning "Thin Film Transistor"). Unlike a regular LCD monitor, the TFT allows a viewer to see accurate and clear images from a wide viewing angle to the monitor. The built in TV tuner is a very high sensitivity auto tune system with 99 preset memory. Also, the high quality screen will reproduce DVD and other video sources in normal 4:3 screen size, the 7" and 8" wide screen 16:9. Adjustable screen aspect ratio lets the user chose the right size and shape. The reverse feature of the monitor allows for an accurate rear vision system, just like a rear view mirror the operator can use the AgCam for backing up trailers, campers and many other view interrupted equipment. The Monitor has 2-camera capability, which is switch-able from the front of the monitor or the handy remote control. The monitor is specially wired to accept the single wire hookup to the AgCam cameras with a sealed, watertight, twist lock connector. Also included in every kit is an adapter for use on an external video source such as DVD or VCR. To allow for easy hookup, the only power source required is a single A/C adapter or cigar lighter adapter for both camera(s) and monitor. The monitor can also be wired into a vehicle wiring harness to an accessory on circuit. Ranch Hand Wireless Transmitter/Receiver The Ranch Hand is a wireless add-on using 2.4Ghz frequency at 100mw power. Simply attach the receiver to your AgCam monitor using a single wire, and attach the transmitter to the AgCam receiver in a remote location up to 2500 feet (line of sight) and it is ready to go. Alternately you could attach the receiver to any TV set with an aux input. Using an external antenna available through any AgCam retailer you could extend the range significantly, see the antennas page to select the external antenna right for your needs. This handy addition is useful for watching livestock from remote locations, or it could be used from one vehicle to another, such as, monitoring multiple combine grain tank levels from the grain cart or truck. The Ranch Hand is compatible with the new Quad processor allowing transmitting of 4 cameras using only one Ranch Hand Transmitter/Receiver pair. The Ranch hand is specifically designed for use with the AgCam camera, quad and monitors, with a simple single cable connection you will be "wireless" in minutes, however we have not limited the functionality there, with alternate input and outputs, you may use the ranch hand with any source of video and watch on any source of display. Use to extend your VCR or DVD onto another TV in another room. Like the AgCam system the usefulness' is not limited, flexibility in design is what the AgCam, Ranch Hand and accessories is all about. Ranch Hand audio adapter is available for situation where audio is desired, simply plug directly into the Ranch Hand transmitter and plug the camera cable into the audio adapter just like a short extension cord. Standard AgCam Camera cables do not carry the audio signal to eliminate interference, if you need to relocate the audio source farther from the transmitter you will need to obtain a special audio cable from your AgCam dealer.
