Kenwood’s KDS-100 FleetSync™ Data Terminal expands the FleetSync™ display, memory and operational capabilities of 80-Series mobile radios. Kenwood’s FleetSync™ Digital Messaging & Signaling is a cost-effective fleet management tool, ideal for operations using private or subscriber-based two-way services. FleetSync™ offers digital fleet unit identification, selective calling, status messaging and text messaging for dispatch operations. The KDS-100 will also add FleetSync™ capabilities to Kenwood’s 60G/62G-Series mobiles.

FleetDispatchPRO is an easy to use FleetSync™ messaging and PTT ID dispatch software for a desktop computer connected via the PC Serial Interface to a Kenwood 80-Series base station. FleetDispatchPRO supports FleetSync™ PTT ID, Status Messaging, Emergency and Short/Long Text Messaging enabling a dispatcher to send, receive and log all message types to or from a mobile and portable fleet. Computer System Requirements Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP OS / Pentium II 450 MHz or better 10 MB of hard disk drive space / 64MB RAM / CD ROM Drive / Mouse Super VGA color monitor or better / 1024 x 768 or higher resolution setting 1 Serial Port (for KCT-31 connection) / 1 Parallel Port (for hardware key) / Single PC use only.

The Kenwood KPG-4UH GPS sensor board can be installed into 180 or 80 series mobiles at a very minimal cost while increasing driver safety and customer service. This 12 channel GPS receiver tracks and uses up to 12 GPS satellites for fast, accurate positioning and low power consumption. User initialization is not required, once the unit is installed it will automatically transmit navigation data. Built-in battery backup will maintain the real time clock for up to 21 days or longer with its provision for an external power source.
